This initial volunteer orientation program provides a general volunteer welcome, introduction and overview for people who wish to volunteer at hospice in ANY volunteer roles. This 4-hour training is designed to introduce hospice philosophy and the many volunteer roles including volunteering with patients and families, supporting office work, specialty programs, fund raising, community outreach, special events, and other activities. Resources include confidentiality statements and organizational ethics. This training resource includes facilitator notes and guides, participant handouts, learning activities, and Power Point presentations with the ability to add agency specific content.
