This 2.5 hour independent learning module was developed to assist the healthcare professional in gaining the knowledge, skills and attitudes to assess, identify issues, determine interventions and plan care related to domestic abuse and violence. This training addresses basic issues related to domestic violence and provides information specific to hospice populations including the elderly and patients at the end of life. The training is suitable for nurses, social workers and hospice aides. Includes training content and pre- and post-tests.
