This 2.0 hour independent learning module was developed to meet the basic training requirements for the Medicare CoPs (2008) restraint standard for hospice inpatient facility staff. Following the training direct care staff must demonstrate application and use of restraints per agency policy. The training is suitable for physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors, chaplains, hospice aides, volunteers and direct care staff in hospice inpatient facilities. Includes training content and pre- and post-tests.
