Program Description:  Does your organizational culture reflect the value of interdisciplinary practice? How can a practice model optimize experiences for people we serve, our staff and volunteers? This interactive two day training workshop will reflect upon the experiences of those we serve and the value of hospice/palliative care interdisciplinary teams to support those experiences. Participants will complete a team and organizational assessment of an IDT model and discuss ways to create organizational systems and culture that values and supports all members of the IDT. Enhancement of facilitation skills, IDG collaboration techniques, documentation review and a simulated team meeting will be some of the skill-building exercises participants will experience.
